New Mexico: Santa Fe City Council to consider gun restrictions

The Santa Fe City Council is scheduled to weigh a proposal next week that would impose strict regulations on the number of bullets in gun magazines allowed in the city limits.Councilors Patti Bushee and Ron Trujillo and Mayor David Coss are backing a plan for the city to prohibit possession and sales of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition and other gun accessories that the proposed ordinance calls “high capacity ammunition feeding devices.”
