Illinois: Overview of the New Laws as Right to Carry Becomes a Reality for Last State in the Nation

This Tuesday, on the court-ordered deadline for Illinois to enact a  law that would provide for the lawful carrying of arms, the state House voted 77 to 31 and the state Senate 41 to 17 to override the Amendatory Veto by Governor Pat Quinn (D) on House Bill 183, making concealed carry a legal possibility in the Land of Lincoln.
