Elections show SAFE Act not popular with downstate voters

Elections show SAFE Act not popular with downstate voters – Upon hearing of the defeat of Noam Bramson in Westchester and Thomas Suozzi in Nassau, two candidates who openly campaigned on gun control platforms, NYSRPA President Thomas King had this to say, “I guess the SAFE Act isn’t as popular downstate as media pundits have been saying it is.”
