Illinois: Bill Reducing FOID Age Requirement to be Heard in House Committee Tomorrow
Tomorrow, February 5, at 9:15 a.m., House Bill 3762 is scheduled to be heard in the Illinois House Judiciary Committee. HB 3762, sponsored by state Representative Jack D. Franks (D-63), would reduce the age requirement from 21 years to 18 years to obtain a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card without a parental signature.
