South Dakota: State House Passes Pro-Firearms HB 1229
Yesterday, February 20, the South Dakota House of Representatives passed House Bill 1229 by a 53-17 vote. HB 1229, introduced by state Representative Timothy Johns (R-31), would allow South Dakota state law to meet the requirements set forth in the federal NICS Improvement Amendments Act (NIAA) of 2007.
