Australia: Triple barrel shotgun’s arrival caused alarm

The Turkish-made Akkar Mammut triple-barrel shotgun (pictured) alarmed firearms regulators more than a year ago and challenged the 1996 National Firearms Agreement when it arrived in Australia.The Akkar, with three 12-gauge shots, came well before the Adler lever-action shotgun, which has become mired in controversy over the past few months.
