Idaho: Permitless Carry Bill Delivered to Governor Otter

This afternoon, Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter (R) received Senate Bill 1389, the NRA-endorsed permitless carry bill, for his consideration and signature.  SB 1389 passed the Idaho Senate with a 27-8 vote and the Idaho House of Representatives with a 54-15 vote.  Governor Otter will have 5 days to act on SB 1389 if the Legislature remains in session through Saturday.  If the Legislature adjourns sine die before the 5-day period expires, Governor Otter will have an additional 10 days to act on SB 1389.
