Iowa: Carry Permit Reform and Information Protection Act to be Heard Tomorrow

Tomorrow, March 10, House File 2314, the Carry Permit Reform and Information Protection Act is scheduled for a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing at 11:30am.  This critical bill would help clarify Iowa’s current carry permit law and ensure the protection of gun owners’ personal information.  By legislative rule, the Senate must move all House proposals out of committee by March 11.  Those bills that fail to pass are not eligible for floor action.  Please contact the members of the Committee and politely urge them to SUPPORT HF 2314 WITHOUT AMENDMENT.
