Maine: House Enacts Firearm Owner’s Protection Legislation

Today, March 31, the Maine House of Representatives voted to enact Legislative Document 1572.  LD 1572 would help ensure nondiscrimination against gun owners who reside in public housing.  LD 1572 must now go the Senate for final enactment before heading to Governor Paul LePage (R) for his consideration.  The Senate may vote on LD 1572 as early as tomorrow.  Please contact your state Senator and politely urge him or her to vote in favor of final enactment for LD 1572.
