Teen clerk fights off armed robber, PennLive, Harrisburg, Pa. 08/19/16

A masked man armed with a gun entered Madera Bros. Mini Market in Harrisburg, Pa. and attempted to rob the store. The clerk on duty, 19-year-old Daneurys Santo, responded to the threat by retrieving a shotgun and firing at the criminal. The armed robber was struck by Santo’s gunfire and immediately fled the store. The scene was captured by the store’s surveillance system.
Less than a year ago, the store was the target of another robbery, during which Santo’s mother was working at the market. Following the incident Santo had a warning for the robber, stating, “He come again, I do the same.”
