Lothian homeowner shoots alleged intruder

An intruder who broke into a Lothian home was shot by the homeowner, Anne Arundel County police said. Police were called around 8 a.m. Thursday to the area of Mullen Lane and Old Ridge Path Lane, where they found a man who was shot. The man came into the home and was confronted by two homeowners, before the homeowner shot at the man twice, police said.
