Michigan: Senate to Vote on Self-Defense Bills

Today, the Michigan state Senate Government Operations Committee passed Senate Bills 0584, 0585, and 0586 with a 3-2 vote.  This set of bills will address gun-free zones where law-abiding citizens are left defenseless and will be brought up for a vote in the state Senate tomorrow.  In addition, Senate Bill 527, which ensures that law-abiding citizens are not stripped of their Second Amendment rights when they choose to provide foster care to children, will also come up for a vote.  Please contact your state Senator and urge them to SUPPORT these bills.  Click the “Take Action” button below to contact your state Senator.
