BUFFALO, NY – Buffalo police say a man who was being robbed struck back at his assailants, shooting two suspects.The attempted robbery and subsequent shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. Sunday along the 600 block of Lasalle Avenue in the city’s Kensington-Bailey neighborhood.Both suspects were taken to Erie County Medical Center, one with serious injuries. The other suspect’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to a statement released by the Buffalo Police Department Sunday night.Police say that the robbery victim appears to have a legal permit for the gun used in the shooting.
