Tennessee: Pro-Hunting Bill Approved by Senate Committee; House Bill Scheduled for Committee Hearing

On Wednesday, Senate Bill 1777 was approved unanimously in the Tennessee Senate Energy, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and referred to the Senate Calendar Committee.  Sponsored by state Senator Mike Bell (R-9), SB 1777 would amend Tennessee’s current hunter harassment laws by prohibiting anti-hunting radicals from using drones to interfere with those lawfully hunting or fishing.
