Colorado: Bill to Repeal Restrictions on Rifle and Shotgun Purchases Passes House and Heads to Governor

Today, Senate Bill 135 passed the Colorado House of Representatives by a 61-1 vote and now heads to Governor John Hickenlooper’s (D) desk for his consideration.  SB 135, sponsored by state Senator Greg Brophy (R-1), would repeal restrictions in state law relating to the purchase and sale of rifles and shotguns in non-contiguous states, and permit the purchase and sale of firearms in states not bordering Colorado by both residents and non-residents.
