South Carolina: Right-to-Carry Recognition Bill Expected for House Floor Vote Next Week

One of NRA-ILA’s top priorities this session, H. 3240, is expected to be considered by the full House of Representatives next week.  Introduced by state Representative Alan Clemmons (R-107), H. 3240 would establish that South Carolina recognizes all valid Right-to-Carry (RTC) permits issued by other states.  The bill was amended in Judiciary to clarify that the recognition of permits issued by other states applies only to those permitees who are at least 21 years old, unless they are members of the United States Armed Forces.  Please contact your state Representative and urge them to SUPPORT H. 3240 without any amendments that would weaken its goal of establishing true RTC recognition in South Carolina.
