Connecticut Action Needed: General Assembly Vote to Take Money from Permitting Accounts Imminent

Late last night, the Connecticut Senate passed Senate Bill 1059 in an attempt to reduce the budget deficit before the end of the fiscal year; however, in the proposal, the Senate approved taking a total of $300,000 from the “pistol permits photographic costs account” and the “ammunition certificates account.”  This bill is now pending consideration on the House floor.
